Land’s End to John O’Groats
Day 42, Byrness to Kirk Yetholm. This was the extra day that we threw in to our E2E for good measure. However, today we achieved FOUR of our goals! 1) All three of us completed the PW, 2) We are in Scotland, 3) Alan & I have walked the entire length of England, 4) we are 2/3 of the way along our E2E! ~ YIPPEE!!!.
Day 43, Kirk Yetholm to Jedburgh. Sadly it's time to say goodbye to Steph and Ian & Jacky Jones (Jacky is not in the photo as she is having a well earned lay-in) and we are joined by Maureen & little helper Michael. Today Alan & I ended our walk 17 miles SOUTH-WEST of yesterday's finish point in order to get back on track and on schedule. We are still in Scotland though.
Day 44, Jedburgh to Melrose. Och aye, yon pruuf thit weer in Bonnie Scootland.
Day 45, Melrose to Peebles. Alan denies all knowlege and demands a DNA test as he hatches a cunning plan to steal the pushchair and demand that I push him all the way to John O'Groats!
