2016 Boundary Walk

Another great year - over 103 participants. The weather was fairly shocking once again from the start with persistent rain and low cloud. The wind chill was extreme on the tops and caused more than a few folk to head down early. However it was a great effort from all involved and despite some shenanigans on the 7 miler with 400 ultra-runners adopting our route for the day we still had a great walk. Many thanks to all those who took part, and once again a special word of thanks to Stephen Gorton and his host of willing volunteers who helped to staff the registration points, checkpoints and the finishing line, as well as providing much needed and highly appreciated refreshments at the Kirkstone and Patterdale School.
