Day 58, Inverness to Alness. We have seen many odd signs on this trip but here they provide a bin to dispose of Fido when his days are up!
Day 59, Alness to Dornoch. Today's photo was taken on the Dornoch Firth Bridge, which was our 1000th E2E mile ~ 110 more miles to JoG from here (we might just add a 1 mile detour to bring the grand total to a tidy 1111 miles!).
Day 60, Dornoch to Brora. We walked beside the sea for the first time since day 2 at Penzance. Strolling along empty, golden, sandy beaches in warm sunshine with only seals for company, then getting drenched for the last hour ~ nice weather for seals! Just 82 miles & 4 days to JoG!
Day 61, Brora to Forsinard. Walking through the Highlands, you see nature in close detail and cannot help falling in love with this area. The wildlife and views that we have seen today are just stunning including 1000's of assorted birds and 100's of dear. We watched a Golden Eagle hunting below us in the Glen whilst her mate soared off a crag above us. To be a few feet from a wild Golden Eagle in full flight is just supurb!
