Day 62, Forsinard to Melvich. It was quite a surprise to come over a hill to see our third E2E coastline (the far north Scottish coast) under a clear blue sky & a glistening, deep blue sea. The spectacular view of the Orkney Islands was an additional, unexpected bonus. Just 2 days and 38 miles to JoG!
Day 63, Melvich to Thurso. Our E2E keeps turning up little gems right to the end. Today we watched Puffins and guillemots on these cliffs. The views were amazing too as we looked out towards Cape Wrath, which is an incredible 93.4km away. It's now 1099 miles complete and just 11 miles & 1/2 a day to go ~ will we make it?
Day 64, Thurso to John O'Groats. And that, as they say, ...is that. Job Done!
Day 65, John O'Groats to Patterdale. One day we went out for a walk, t'was a grand walk. ~ THE END.
