Helvellyn via Striding Edge - October 30th  2007
Grisedale Valley looked nice and sunny - cold and crisp
Sasha was happy paddling in Red Tarn - a little cold for me!
My brothers dog Sasha was our companion for the day. This was about the only time she was behind us!
The summit shrouded in mist - we decided to give it a go anyway
Route - Patterdale - Hole in the Wall - Striding Edge - Helvellyn - Swirral Edge - Red Tarn - Hole in the wall - Patterdale

Weather: Sunshine and then mist and wind on top!
The summit was misty to say the least!
Distance:  c.12.5 km (8 miles)
Total Ascent:  911m (2990 ft)
Time: c.5 Hours (thanks to the dog!)
