2015 Boundary Walk

Another great year - over 108 participants. The weather started badly appallingly with thunder, lightning, and a torrential downpour for an hour from 06:00. Well done to those 39 brave souls who set off from Glencoyne. Things hadn’t improved much for the 14 milers who set off from 09:30 onwards as they were walking in thick mist for most of the way and whn the mist cleared the wind was still gusting! Many thanks to all those who took part, and once again a special word of thanks to Stephen Gorton and his host of willing volunteers who helped to staff the registration points, checkpoints and the finishing line, as well as providing much needed and highly appreciated refreshments at the Kirkstone and Patterdale School.
